Description

This online Wellness Morning Retreat is Mindfully designed for Nurses & Midwives experiencing stress from working in unprecedented times in hospitals & other clinical settings. These practices will support nurses in minimising compassion fatigue while nourish and nurture their Body, Mind, and Spirit. This session is informed by the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Programme developed by Dr.Jon Kabat Zinn in the United States in 1979 and we will practice Meditations from the core MBSR curriculum. This is primarily an experiential session & the invitation is to use your inbuilt curiosity and experience the space between the thoughts to create peace and joy while engaging your parasympathetic nervous system.  Participants will experience:
 
-  Connection of Mind and body through anchoring the breath
-  Triangle of awareness for managing thoughts and emotions.
-  Cultivating equanimity especially in a difficult situation
-  Mindful Body Movements
-  Stress reduction tools
-  MBSR Meditation- Turning towards difficult
-  Mental training of focus and forming new habits through rewiring of the brain [Neuroplasticity] {Latest researches in Mindfulness for Healthcare workers}
-  Body Scan
 
Note:  On completion of this course a certificate of attendance in a digital form and will be sent by email to each participant.  Please note places are limited and must be booked in advance; you need a reliable computer and internet access and please ensure a correct email is provided when registering.
